MeiGie & BoyBoy

BoyBoy is one handsome energetic dog with melting brown eyes, cute curled tail, white furred body with black spots and a brown head. And his cute ears that always exposed what he was feeling.

MeiGie had never planned to keep a dog before BoyBoy. But fate decided to put them together as she one day found BoyBoy in her house when we came back from school. Her little brother was the little culprit that wanted BoyBoy but MeiGie ended up being the closes to him. BoyBoy would have ended up roaming the streets of PJ if MeiGie had not taken care of him.

But BoyBoy was always this approachable because he used to follow his mom around his first house before getting separated. He wouldn't eat for the first couple weeks. MeiGie tried talking to him to give him attention, pat him to make him feel accepted. "When i touch him, BoyBoy stoned!" laughed MeiGie. Apparently BoyBoy turns into a stone and wouldn't move until a certain amount of time.

Now, three year old BoyBoy runs around the spacious house yard and garden chasing birds and chicken, scaring MeiGie's new three bunnies in their cages and most cutest of all, lowering his ears to act cute.

Irene & Joey

Joey had been the family's dog ever since before Irene could open her eyes. Joey was one lucky dog who had a roof over his head, food in his doggy bowl and most important of all, a loving family. And when it was time for Joey to pass, everyone that loved him was there beside him.

Joey lived a good almost 20 years. His original owner used to bring Joey to Irene's house to visit and everyone adored him. Little Irene used to play with Joey by pulling his ears and he never got angry. And when his owner had to migrate to Singapore, Joey was almost left at the SPCA but luckily Irene and her family took him in.

Although Joey was familiar with Irene and her family, he still missed his owner. "He used to hide under the sofa, wouldn't want to eat, wouldn't ever let people touch him," said Irene. "My sister had to drag him out and got bitten by Joey a few time." It wasn't easy to tame Joey. But patience paid off as Joey slowly opened up to Irene and her family within two month.

But Joey's time with Irene and her family was getting short as he grew weaker and weaker due to his age. He was taken to the vet to get examine but the veterinarian said Joey was too old to go on and had to be put to sleep to ease his pain. That day Joey had Irene and her family with him as he was slowly put to sleep.

Joey the lovable dog would always remain in those who had loved and adored him forever.

Priscilla & Rocky

This is the story of Priscilla and Rocky.

"I met Rocky seven years ago behind my school hall after school. He was a small pup with black fur and a brown snout. I saw him hiding under the stairs to the hall's backstage and he looked very scared and lost. I crouched underneath and took him back after that. I was happy to have Rocky and as time passed Rocky grew bigger, wiser and fiercer. I like it when Rocky licks me during feeding time. He's the best thing that ever happened to me."

Rocky was one of the many stray puppies that roam the streets eating from garbage to garbage. And most of the time these puppies end up starving to death or run down by vehicles. How many would care for a stray dirty looking puppy?

Now Rocky lives a happy life in his big yard, with his big tree and his very own D.I.Y dog house under the big tree. Who knows what would have happened to Rocky if Priscilla wasn't there at that time to find him.

Eunice & Katie

This is the story of Eunice and Katie. Eunice has always been a dog lover. No puppy could ever escape from her soft pats on their head.

"I found Katie two years ago through Petfinder from an owner who was desperately trying to give away all the puppies her female dog gave birth to. I met up with my pup's owner and adopted her. I took her home when she was just one month old. She was a cute, sweet obedient little pup. but when she grew up, she became naughtier and destructive. She loved to wreck havoc in my mum's garden and this trait of hers is what makes me laugh and smile every time I see her. She taught me life is all about humor and fun, I guess."

Katie is one of the many thousands of dogs that could have been abandoned in a box somewhere unknown. She would not have experience the love from Eunice and her family, the feeling of being wanted and comfort of a home if Eunice were to not stumble upon the adoption page in Petfinder.
